This site tells the tale of Tilly, the Welsh Mountain pony, following her progress in pictures from her birth in 1996.

She is registered in Section A of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society Stud Book (no 110264). "Tilly" is short for Chantilly as in Chantilly lace. This follows the naming theme on her maternal side: her mother was Organdie; her maternal grandmother, Brocade; and her maternal great-grandmother, Damask. More on her pedigree, which includes many famous Welsh ponies.

She was bred to be a driving pony. She was professionally broken and now takes part in all sorts of driving events.
